Lubri-Pak™ Grade G

  • Product Description
    Lubri-Pak™ Grade G is a Glass Release Coating that is a water based durable solid film lubricant used on glass contacting surfaces of the forming machine tooling.

    Molten glass does not adhere to this coating, resulting in a container with an excellent, contamination-free surface.

    Lubri-Pak™ Grade G was formulated for the NNPB process and works well for general purpose and all types of ware and applications.
  • Typical Uses
    Sprayed on rings, blanks, baffles, bottom plates, plungers, thimbles, and funnels before installation on the glass-forming machine.

    • Appearance- Black liquid

    Additional - Less than 30 minutes to apply and cure, inhibits rust, one year shelf life for coated tooling and coating chemical, permits operator to perform other functions besides swabbing and can be used on tools cleaned by shot peening or electro-etch caustic solution.

    JCL HTS Enhanced Dry Film Lubricant™ is a High Temperature Stability Glass Release Coating of ultra high purity graphite and superior ceramic blends used on glass contacting surfaces of the forming machine tooling.  Molten glass does not adhere to this coating, resulting in a container with excellent, contamination-free surface.

    Sprayed on rings, blanks, baffles, bottom plates, funnels, molds (to reduce and prevent “brilliant scratch” defect), plungers, and thimbles before installation on the glass-forming machine.

  • Method of Use
    JCL HTS Enhanced Dry Film Lubricant™ should be applied to a clean and dry surface.  Hold can 6 to 8 inches above surface.  Use stroking motion applying successive light coats rather than one heavy coat.  Allow sufficient drying between coats to prevent running.  Clean valve after use.  Turn upside down and spray 4 seconds.  Use in well ventilated area.

    Boron Nitride Coat is a high temperature high performance anti-stick release coating for use in hot glass forming, super-plastic forming of alloys and melting and casting of non-ferrous metals.

Boron Nitride Spray Aerosol

  • Product Description

    Boron Nitride Spray is a high temperature lubricant, protective coating and mold release compound used on tooling for the manufacture of products made from molten glasses.   

  • Typical Uses

    Label tabs, neck rings, embossed areas on the mold and bottom plates.

    Other Applications:  Metal Processing such as casting, forging, stamping and extrusion.   Surfaces that come in contact with hot & molten metals such as sintering plates.  Welding nozzles, prevents welding spatter from sticking and stop-off protection in brazing. Superplastic forming and where high electrical resistance and good thermal conductivity are required, an excellent coating for electrical heating elements.
